Ashley Altus brings a documentarian's eye to photography. She specializes in capturing music, events, lifestyle, and portraits. Her work focuses on capturing emotion, nuance, and details in the mundane. As a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism, storytelling is central to her approach.
As a veteran of the music scene, she's photographed some festivals such as Riot Fest and Vans Warped Tour, and partnered with artists such as Shaggy, Thrice, New Found Glory, Sleeping with Sirens, and Veil of Maya, to capture moments on the stage. She has worked with publications to create visuals such as Business Insider and HM Magazine, in addition to organizations such as Madison Square Garden Entertainment and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
She divides her time between Chicago, IL and Palm Beach, FL.
