She refined her storytelling skills at Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism. Her writing has been published in O, the Oprah Magazine and Wacoan Magazine.

She's previously covered medical education, health care policy, and patient care at the American Osteopathic Association. She coded and wrote the first-ever interactive quiz for The DO, the news and features publication of the AOA. It's the most viewed piece of content in the site's history.

She currently produces personal finance content for fintech startup, OppLoans.
